Since the conception of the iPhone, other mobile phone developers (obviously not Apple) have really stepped their game up, trying to dethrone the phone, rhyme intended. These mobile phone developers have come up with some pretty amazing phones, as people have really voiced their opinions, and the companies take this to heart when they are developing an alternative. Unfortunately, some of these phones fall flat, and that’s something that’s a little bit of a problem, because we obviously wouldn’t want a monopoly when it comes to mobile phone choices.

Now, to the heart of the matter. Do any of these phones really stand up to the iPhone? We’ve seen quite a few phones that have been released in the past couple of months, and there promises to be more. Especially with the rising popularity of Google’s Android software, those phone loving people are considering whether they should ditch their iPhones. At a glance, they are pretty similar, providing some of the basic applications that most smartphones have. But, it remains to be seen if they really match up. Some of them are pretty pricey, a little slow, and above all else, they do not offer the same about of applications that the iPhone does. Does this mean that the iPhone is better? Well, if you consider more applications that streamline your life “better,” then yes, the iPhone is one of which that will not be contested as of yet. For those who are still out there looking for a phone and don’t own an iPhone, they should either remain phone-less or spend a little money on the iPhone.
